We worked in the Multi Op - Low Power category. I'm quite new to RTTY contesting (DXing since 1990, but started on RTTY in 2002), and Claudia K2LEO is just at her first experiences in contesting.

Our Multi setup is probably one of the smallest and simplest one in the world. Currently we need filters and better switching system in order to be able to run both stations at the same time for a true Multi-Single or Multi-Two effort.

The setup includes two stations (Run and Mult).
Radios: Kenwood TS-440S (100w), Elecraft K2/100 (50w)
PCs: 2 laptops and computer interfaces
Software: Writelog 10.52 on Ethernet network, telnet Packet Cluster
Antennas: 3 el. tribander for 10-15-20m, inverted V dipole on 40m, 30m wire Zeppelin on 80m, RX vertical

Notice the external monitor for the right laptop, which has a damaged screen (following our DXpedition to Marquesas Islands).

We're improving the station with bandpass filters, new USB interface, new switching system. Claudia is also improving quickly on RTTY. So look for us in the Multi category in the next RTTY contests, we expect better score next time!

Statistics

Our rates were not so good, due to low power, simple setup, poor propagation, and also our quiet and training-style participation in the contest.
