banknote Foreign Banknotes of any value (even few cents of US$) are OK for me as a replacement for postage (I collect foreign banknotes). So, for example, if you leave in Eastern Europe or Asia or South America and you can send me a small banknote (even not new) it will be appreciated and no need to send US$ or IRCs. I already have the following banknotes. IRCs for sale I have some IRCs (new type, large) available for sale (payment via PayPal or cash in US$ or Euro). Price is 1 Euro each (plus shipping - or I can bring to major European DX meetings). Please contact me if you're interested (minimum 20 pieces).

General policy for QSLing Sending more than one request in the same envelope is OK (max 4, but please add enough postage/money for reply). IRCs (often sold for $1.85 at post offices) expire in 2009; US$ 2 are preferred if possible and are OK for all destinations (up to 3 cards - any one - 2 QSOs per card). Sending US$ to Italy is no problem and mail is safe and very reliable (in my area at least). All "old" logs are still open.

In Italy, the minimum postage for a 20g letter is: euro 0.65 to EU, euro 0.85 (about US$1.28 - February 2008) to the Americas and Asia, euro 1.00 (about US$1.50) to Oceania.

ZL QSL cards for ZL/IK1PMR & ZL/IZ1GLO (OC-036 & OC-201) are now available (April 2008) and I'm replying to direct cards. VK QSL cards for VK7AAP, VK7CLA, AX7AAP, AX7CLA (OC-006 & OC-001) are now available (April 2008) and I'm replying to direct cards. ZP QSL cards for ZP6/IK1PMR, ZP6/IZ1GLO, ZP0R (2007) are now available (April 2008). Please note: I'm the only manager for ZP0R CQWW CW 2007 and Tara Melee RTTY 2007. CX QSL cards for IK1PMR/CX, K2LEO/CX, CW2C are now available (April 2008) and I'm replying to direct cards. JT 14-24 April 2007 - logs are online on this same page but they only include QSOs made by operators IK1PMR and K2LEO (other ops used paper log). Official QSL manager is I0SNY - if you include a JT request to me, I'll answer it only if the QSO appears in my online log, otherwise I will forward it to I0SNY. VU4 17-24 April 2006 - QSLs are going out for VU4AN/VU3PLM (op. K2LEO, yl) and VU4AN/VU3TLY (op. IK1PMR). Logs are online on this same page. TY 16-30 March 2006 - There are many requests outside EU with insufficient postage, e.g. 1 US$ or expired IRCs or SASE with less than 0.85 euro. I only handle QSL cards for TY5MR and TY5LEO (I will forward cards directed to other callsigns to the correct manager).

Ham Fests I will attend several meetings and DX conventions: if you wish I can prepare your QSL cards and give them personally at any of these meetings, just let me know with an email message. I have been invited as speaker/guest at the following DX conventions:
  • Fiera Busto Arsizio, 10 May 2008;
  • Ham Radio, Friedrichshafen, Germany, June 2008;
  • HF/DX Convention, Bologna, Italy, September 2008;
